LO1:Practitioner input/write ups of talks

Chris Saunders
Chris Saunder is a professional photographer who is from Sheffield. He started off by borrowing a camera from his friend to take pictures of his funny cat. After that he liked taking pictures and went to college for photography. He started going to a local bookshop to take pictures of famous writers to start to build up his portfolio but this was not for any college project it was all in his own time. He then went on to do photography at university but he do not do very well.

He said that 90% of his work is portraits he never said what the other 10% was.
The first person he talked about was Daivid Lynch. Daivid Linch is a famous director. Chris Saunder sent a letter asking him if the next time he goes to the United Kingdom if he could take his picture. He then got a replay saying yes but they cannot see him coming to the United Kingdom in the next couple of years. He then sent the same letter back every year after but all ways got the same respones. But eight year latter they said that he will be in the Unied Kingdom for a couple of days and could have half an hour with him. When the day came Daivid Lynch was late and Chris Saunder  could only have five minuets of his time and this is what he got.

After he was done talking about Daivid Lynch he then went on to talk a little about what typ of person is best to photograph is some one who whats to be photographed some one who is the right state of mind for it.

He then started talking about a man named Mike Lee he wnt on about how every thing went wrong for that photoshot. The light that he tested the day be for stoped working on the the day of shotting and that he forgot his reflective sheet then he had to go to the corner shop to go get tin foil to use.

Here is a list of band he has tuck photos of.
1. 65 Days of Static
2.CoCo Clocks
3. Wet  Nun
4. John Maclow
5. Heavily Pregnant Brothers
6. The Gentlemen
7. Dizzy Rascal
8. Flaming Lips

He allso said that he all so did a lot of pictures for a magazine called the sandman that is no longer running.

He all so like to use photoshop in some of his work but like to make it look like that he has not used it at all as he said some of his worjk has a lot of work done on it on photoshop and some has a little and other have none at all.
